Med 2

To be granted a taxi license, taxi drivers need to pass a medical assessment conducted by a qualified doctor. If you pass all parts of the medical assessment you will be granted a fitness certificate (Med 2) by the doctor stating that you are well enough to be granted a taxi license.

The doctor will:

Check your blood pressure
Check your pulse
Listen to your heart
Check your mobility and movement
Test your hearing
Test your vision

What do I need to bring with me to the appointment?

Please bring the following information to your appointment (if applicable);

A form of photo ID e.g. passport, photo driver’s license,
Your hearing aids, glasses/contact lenses & prescription (if applicable),
